Last July 4th was our second event coverage for Zero Vector Philippines and Zero Vector Ventures' "Stage 0: Build Nothing. Prove Everything." - a validation hackathon where aspiring startup founders and creators compete by presenting, proving, and validating concepts in a short amount of time. This also trains them to prove that a problem is real and large enough to solve before even starting to write code and build.
As we typically do a "Cover and Discover" approach during work, we have gained another valuable insight: an idea, product, or concept must be validated, supported by concrete evidence, and backed by thorough research before investing time, effort, and money in it—a philosophy the company strongly advocates.
